Tom Kelley’s “The Art of Innovation”

This year’s theme focuses on the creative intention of each artwork, as inspired by Tom Kelley’s book ‘The Art of Innovation’. A book in which Tom Kelley elaborates on some lessons of creativity from his award winning design firm, IDEO.

IDEO doesn’t buy into the myth of the lone genius working away in isolation, waiting for great ideas to strike. Kelley believes everyone can be creative, and the goal is to tap into that wellspring of creativity in order to make innovation a way of life. This is a great ideal for inspiring healthy co-working environments for fellow artists and designers.

Work Environments that nurture creativity create spaces that encourage interaction and impromptu meanings. They also let workers celebrate their individuality

Stevie Ku'shon

Stevie grew up in the cusp between the VCR and DVD era and can't afford Netflix either. Reportedly the first ever person to transition from Beta female, to Alpha female, to Beta again successfully without any complications - she also has a degree paper, that paper being white - And 11 out of 10 people agree that she never tells any lies, especially in writing. With a background in fine arts, particularly an affinity for performance/ installation art that touch on breaking boundaries and social norms, she has a lil sum-sumthin to say about it all
